This is a vintage Case 6488 Large Congress pattern pocket knife. The knife is 4-1/8 closed with brass liners and pinned oval CASE shield. The blade steel is CV (carbon) steel. All blades have strong snap with half stops.
Each blade is tight with no side to side wobble. The handles are chestnut bone with great color. Each handle has minor pocket wear, no cracks or chips. Each blade shows very minor sharpening loss, near full, lightly cleaned.A nice used knife with character, great rare old Case pattern!
