Antique Rare Unique Art Deco Lucite Purse Handbag. Nice

  
Such a darling antique Lucite purse. In a basket weave pattern.

Clear top, bottom & handle. Love the vintage metal clasp. It also has 4 metal feet on bottom for a little added protection. This purse is so unique with the individual lucite bands weaved in & out of the gold tone posts. This purse could not have been easy to make without breaking any of the bands of lucite.

Take a close look at pics at just how this was made. If you look good, there are tiny stars sporadically throughout the bands. I see a lot of these old lucite purses w/ the flat sides which were probably hard enough to make, but this is my 1st that I have come across which is actually weaved.

I could just be missing it somewhere. Makes such a beautiful display or if you have enough guts to use it, nice size for that also.

I would be afraid to take it anywhere myself due to how fragile it is. It is in very nice condition. Has been taken very good care of. All the hardware works great.
