Antique Vintage Souvenir American Legion Convention 1938 WAX Doll RARE & NICE

  

This is an incredible find for any collector or museum. This is an antique vintage souvenir from the American Legion Convention in 1938.

This is a wax doll that is marked. 13.25" tall x 5.25" wide. There is a beautiful detailed, wax head. There are a few indentations on the wax under the chin area.

Only noticeable when you look very closely. The clothing is very clean and nice. She really shows minor wear. Some wear on the painted hair. There is a white tag on the dress " The Art Shop The Ambassador Los Angeles". On the bottom of the wood base it is marked in cursive writing "souvenir of Ambassador Hotel " The Cocoanut Grove Legion Night American Legion and Auxilliary Convention Los Angeles Sept 1938. She is very sturdy on the wooden base and I see no rips, tears or breaks.
