Elgin Rare Vintage 2 Tone Watch, Circa 1926, Nice

  

EARLY ELGIN TANK STYLE WATCH, CIRCA MID 1920s. In all around excellent condition, and all original. Off white dial, with black arabic numbers , and blue steeled hands, about 26mm diameter with crown, crystal is raised about 2mm, outer case is gold filled, with inner steel bezel, curved lugs, and steel snap off back.

Ive had the watch in storage the last several years, it started right up, and keeping perfect time for the last 5 hours. Has used green leather strap, which needs a new pin to hold the top piece in place. Vintage watches need an overhaul every several years. Ive been collecting vintage watches for over 30 years.
