Welcome To The Antique Cabinet. For your consideration is a fantastic and unusual Bronze Lion Wall Sconce with rare LOETZ Art Glass Shade. This is a very cool piece with somewhat of a gothic edge. The sconce has very nice detail with red glass eyes and an applied patina. Although we are unsure of the actual age, maker or metal composition of the sconce, it is a very well made with good quality weight the metal does not attract a magnet.

The LOETZ shade (circa early 1900s) is simply awesome. It has beautiful colors and design and really compliments the sconce nicely.

The sconce (with shade) measures approx. 3½ tall by 4 ¼ at widest with a 2 1/8 fitter rim. Both the sconce and shade are in excellent condition. The shade has no chips, crack or repairs and minimal wear with only a few small nicks to fitter rim which cannot be seen when mounted in the fixture. The sconce has no breaks or repairs and very lite age-related wear. A Very Unique Lighting Piece! - - - - -.
