The back of the platter is marked in ink stamp Woodlands near Phila. We are not sure if this form is a platter, bread dish or a underplate to a sauce or tureen. The platter or underplate measures approx. 8 1/2' from top to bottom.
The platter has an excellent reticulate open lattice border with no condition issues. We checked all the lattice work carefully for its condition. The overall condition is very nice with no chips, cracks, deep scratches, staining and no restorations.
We basically see some overall short thin lite utensil usage marks when tilted in strong light. There is crazing on both sides of this item. There also is a oversized stilt mark on the top of the platter. The transfer is crisp and the surface is bright and glossy on the front and back. The blue is rich and deep throughout the entire plate.
