For sale is a RARE 19th century WALNUT WOOD TRENCHER/HANDLED BOWL/dough bowl WITH two HANDLES ALL CARVED OUT OF A SINGLE PIECE OF wood. It has BEAUTIFUL walnut grain.

There is no cracks or hairlines to the bowl. Such excellent state of preservation is very hard to find among large wooden bowl like this. It is clean and dry, no odor, would display well on a large farm table at your home. It measures 17 and 10 in diameter at the top rim , and 3 tall.

It is built Heavy and full of old patina. There are age appropriate wears and smaller imperfections, mostly near the edges. Please check all Photos for detailed condition. Overall, it is A great example of EARLY hand made walnut treen ware IN WELL PRESERVED CONDITION AND with FANTASTIC SURFACE. It would be an great center piece on your dining room table.
