Pelee vase by McCoy vase or picture with handle. Sharon & Bob in their collectors encyclopedia of the McCoy Pottery list the approximate issue date of this line as 1902. In April 1903 a fire destroyed the entire stock of Mt. Reconstruction began immediately and after about seven months or so limited pottery production was it used. But construction continued until February 1905 before a new pottery line was completed.

My grandfather in Roseville Ohio in one of the Potter plants there. I believe he acquire this piece before the fire. Condition This piece is in very good condition as display well. It does have some chips on bottom of vase and underneath the top neck that can't be seen unless turned upside down.
