For sale is a RARE! Antique 19TH Century Black Ball Box used in a old lodge. Black ball box is used for local election or other kind of ballot collecting.

The box is unique from other boxes as it has a round hole on the top to allow voting marbles to be placed during the voting. This one even comes with a set of 27 black and white marbles in a blue bag!

This box is truly a 19th century symbol of American local democracy! The box measures approximately 12 high (with the crown), 6 wide and 3 deep.

The hinge and hook style closure system are both original and in excellent condition. The interior is very clean.
