Here we have a very rare and scarce, handsome level winding casting reel Victory A 53 made in Sweden. Victory Producter Aktiebolag, Malmo, Sweden become one of the three largest fishing tackle.

From the 50's such as South Bend and Heddon. Seldom seen Victory A-Series A53 housed in its correct box along with original booklet and tool. Featuring red anodized finish, lightweight aluminum spool, adjustable slip drag on the crankshaft and. White plastic spacer on the head plate matching nicely with the double white pearled grasps handle. The tail plate is equipped with chrome plated palm rest, adjustable spool speed control and good working clicker. Serial number 5438552 is marked on the reel foot, which is unaltered, in very good condition. Given its age, the reel appears to be barely used, completely original and fully functional. And smoothly operating, with all controls and adjustments working as intended.

Cosmetically as seen in pictures. With very nice and clean finish all around, showing few marks of use or age. No other markings or personalized. Box and booklet are in good condition with some little wear.
