Really Rare and Stunning Firestone Air Chief Working Antique Radio, Nice Wood

  
What a beautiful and rare little radio! The deco curved case is really attractive with very nice wood grains and only minor wear for a radio of this age. The back label says Firestone Tire and Rubber company stock number S-7403-4 and Firestone Air Chief is labeled right above the lighted dial.

The various wood pieces over the grill really add to the beauty of this rare radio. There are three beige wooden stripes embedded in the radio that runs from back to front that really gets your attention. This would look perfect on one's fireplace mantel and be the center of conversation for visitors.

There is just a little raised wood at the back top corners that is hardly noticeable. Everything looks fairly original to me but one can never be completely sure. Please carefully examine all the pictures for details as I cannot describe every detail and don't hesitate to ask a question.

Antique radios should be treated with care as the electronics are delicate and I can only tell you the condition as listed but cannot be held responsible for any damage after the sale. The radio weighs 5.25 lbs. And measures 9 inches wide, 6 tall, 6.5 deep. Please check out my excellent reviews on packing. Not sure if the dial ever had a clear plastic cover but there is not one present but it looks great as is as you can tell.
