This is a very nice Zenith antique chairside radio model 5R337. The case is in good shape with only minor wear for its extended age. Looks like a new speaker cloth and perhaps a new speaker. The radio plays well and I picked up four or five stations in my rather remote location. The dail lights up nicely and is really beautiful with a gold background and a gold pointer and black lettering. Zenith is clearly printed on the dial. There is a pasted paper original label on the bottom which lists the model number. There is a metal brass looking bezel around the dial. There are five station preset pushbuttons but I don't know how to set them so you may want to set them for your local area or just use the manual tuning as I do.

The first button has to be pushed down for powering up the radio. It is best to use a long antenna which is supplied with the radio.

This is a very nice and hard to find radio but yet it is also a piece of furniture that is very small and would make an excellent end table for your family room to admire as a real eye catcher conversation piece. There is even a built-in magazine rack on the front and the bottom shelf can be used to display your favorite items. There are four rather deco pedastal footings in this beautifully designed case. Most everything else looks fairly original to me but one can never be completely sure. Please carefully examine all the pictures for details as I cannot describe every detail and don't hesitate to ask a question.

Antique radios should be treated with care as the electronics are delicate and I can only tell you the condition as listed but cannot be held responsible for any damage after the sale. The radio weighs 17 lbs. And measures 17.5 inches wide, 21.5 tall, 11.5 deep.
