Very Nice! Rare Reel Red / White / Blue 1976 Shakespeare Bait Casting Reel

  
Very Nice external and internal condition! The reel has been examined inside and out to check for wear , corrosion and extreme use or abuse. Very few scratches on the surface as shown in the pictures. The white has yellowed to a degree, I do not know if this can be polished off or if this is natural on these reels.

There are at least two parts missing. The left 1976 badge and another part are missing on the outside of this real.

It goes to the right of the center spool tension knob. The final picture shows the internal Of where that piece is missing.

I do not know if internal parts are associated with it? It appears to have no internal apparatus association whatsoever. The reel functions as expected as far as the mechanics on the handle side of the real. The winding system for the fishing line works smoothly the free spool button works smoothly handle turns and drag adjusts as expected.

Again I do not know what the one missing part does that was noted. It is noted thoroughly so you are responsible to decide and know how this affects the value of the reel.
