Made In Japan by Mastsumoko! Made In Japan by Matsumoku a premier Japanese private label guitar builder that built guitars for Epiphone, Ibanez and many others. This is a very well built quality guitar. The sound of the "Custom 24" can only be described as incredibly HOT and RICH. It also has a wonderful sustain, and the guitar's responsiveness... Is nothing short of UNBELIEVABLE. This Vox has 24 frets on a rosewood neck with mother of pearl inlays and a brass nut. It has two twin Di Marzio pick-ups with a series/parallel switch for each and a separate three-way pick-up selector switch (bridge, neck, bridge + neck). There are two sets of volume and tone knobs, one for each pick-up. The Vox Custom 24 guitar featured a hard rock maple body with a "neck through body" design (picture at right). All hardware was gold plated. Vox offered the Custom 24 from 1982 through 1985. The Vox Custom 24 was equipped with a pair of DiMarzio X2N humbucking pickups. DiMarzio desctribes the X2N as a "take no prisoners, in your face" humbucker.

The 24 fret maple "neck through body" had a "C" profile and an ebony fretboard. The top of the head stock was contoured into a Gibson style moustache.

These don't come up for sale very often. This is a One Owner Adult Owned Guitar From a Smoke and Pet free Home. Our luthier did a complete setup. Brand new strings were installed. Complete Package with Hard Shell Case Included!

There is a small finish chip in the upper horn. Some light strumming scratches on the Top. The Back has some marks from being held next to the player's body.

All Gold Hardware is faded and pitted. Case has some scuffs, scratches and minor tears. Overall, a very nice solid used guitar. Dripping with "Mojo" Look at the pictures closely. They will tell the story.
