Vintage Martin Parlor 5-18 Acoustic Guitar Grovers Clean No Pick Guard Sounds Great RARE. This Great Sounding Martin Parlor Guitar is in Clean, As Found Condition with No Cracks.
All I did was dust. It off, and added New Martin 10-47 strings. I would Much rather Sell the guitar in San Diego County if Possible. The Sound volume is Amazing for this size guitar. The Pick guard came off, and I will include it.
The Chipboard Case looks Original, and a piece on top is missing. The Model# 5-18 is stamped on the inside neck block next to the Serial# 230263, and the Sound Hole label is Missing. It is 33" long, 11.25" Lower bout, 18 Frets, and weighs 2.8 pounds. It may have been made in 1968, and this is the same year. I had 2 local guitar store check it, and they were very impressed with it.
The closed Grover tuners look original, and have not seen this style yet. The Pick guard was loose and curled, and from Research may be Acetate or Celluloid. It is included for reference, and they can be found online.
It is in nice playable condition, and the action may be a little high. It has Minor Body scuffs. It has some small areas on the. But does not affect playability.
