Barbie didn't realize that you're supposed to be unnoticed as a secret agent, so even though her Intrigue outfit is very Mod and hip, it might not be the best uniform for undercover work! The metallic fabric of the coat and dress' skirt is prone to silvering and wear, and this outfit had lots of worn areas on the coat, and a couple on the dress' skirt. I have used metallic fabric paint over the worn areas, which improves its looks a lot. The fabric is still flexible; the acrylic water-based paint won't come off unless you wet the fabric. The fabric is not as bright and shiny as a Mint outfit would be, but it looks pretty even in color and shine overall.

Intrigue is in Excellent and Complete condition, and includes the trenchcoat, belt, and dress on a clear plastic dress form, and white clone closed toe shoes. This outfit looks great on a brunette or redhead TNT doll! I don't grade anything as "Mint" unless I have just taken it out of its original packaging. If you have a question that my description hasn't answered, please ask me. The belted trench coat is clean and pretty even in gold color.

The coat had silvered more than the skirt of the dress, and I have repainted with gold metallic fabric paint. The result is a slightly less shiny gold color than a Mint version, but something that will look nice on display.

I will note that there's still a tiny bit of pink showing on the left front shoulder flap (left in the pic), and a little pink showing around the gold strap on the sleeve hems, see pics #1 & 2. The flap decoration at the front shoulders was curling, so I put a tiny bit of flexible fabric glue underneath so the flaps would lie down.

The back of the coat looks pretty good, I don't see any pink showing through. The coat's fabric isn't as smooth as a Mint outfit, and I wouldn't recommend ironing it.

The coat sleeves are a little wrinkly. I think that if the outfit is on display for awhile, the sleeves will be less likely to wrinkle. I will note that over time the fabric used in this outfit cab can start to stick to itself; so it is a good ideal to store the outfit on a dress form, or with paper inside it.

The belt for the coat is the original length and looks nice and gold. You can see an 1/8 tear in the width of the belt, visible in the main pic and pics #5 & #6. The belt has a tiny bit of edge wear on the end that goes through the buckle, and a tiny bit of wear around the 1/8 cut in the belt, but overall it looks pretty good. The dress is pretty clean and it's delicate fishnet top is in nice shape. Its snap and hook and thread loop closure are intact in back.

I notice a break in the gold thread on the lower left side, a little above the skirt, see pic #3. There is a slight pull in the cotton knit where the gold thread pulled off, but it isn't a hole. On the back of the dress, there is a broken gold thread at bottom of the collar, at the right side, probably from someone hooking into the fabric, and a some broken gold threads along the right edge of the back closure. The attached belt and buckle look good. The skirt has silvered some, but looks nice overall.

There are some small pink spots showing through on the back of the skirt, but they are fairly subtle, see pics #4 & #5. And this part of the skirt is covered on display. White closed toe shoes are unmarked, and they are in perfect shape.
