Vintage Rare Hammonds Terrestrial Globe 12 in. Nice Stand

  

12-inch Terrestrial Globe, 20th century, twelve printed gores, noon and midnight calibrated ring at the pole, resting on a nice wood tripod base. Principal steamship routes with distances in nautical miles. Gorgeous Patina / Tanning showing it's true age and history in time.

Cast bronzed metal full ring meridian resting within a cradle. Floor Globe Diameter: 12 inches; Meridian Diameter: full; Overall: 36.25 high; 15.0 wide. Persia, Constantinople, Petrograd, Manchuria independent, Korea called Chosen. The exterior of the globe shows.

Light to moderate surface scratching, scuffing and wear throughout from age. I have shown these in multiple pictures. Please ignore the camera & light flashes. Hammond in the twenties and thirties was always noted for the attractive design of their mountings.
