SEE MY OTHER AUCTIONS - I have two others just like this listed but they are the Smaller 200A sized blue Sears and the'big hat' 228 sized blue Sears. Vintage Sears 4/65 Blue & Black Gas Lantern by Coleman Model 476.74060 (220 sized). This is the Sears gas lantern, similar to the Coleman 220 model.
While I have not added fuel or tried to light it, it does pump up, hold pressure and hiss when the valve is opened. The friend and fellow collector I bought it from a few years ago told me it was running well before he refurbished it. It has the original Sears Pyrex globe. The fount has been repainted and a period-correct decal has been applied. The vent is in very nice condition with only a few chips on the top.
